Raw Ship-based Trackline Geophysical Data (MGD77) from the Rio Grande Rise acquired during R/V Nathaniel B. Palmer expedition NBP1808 (2018)
This data set was acquired with a Knudsen Engineering 320BR Seismic Subbottom Profiler, Seatex Seapath 200 Navigation System and L and R S-33 Gravimeter during R/V Nathaniel B. Palmer expedition NBP1808 conducted in 2018 (Chief Scientist: Dr. Anthony Koppers, Investigator: Dr. Anthony Koppers). These data files are of MGD77 format and include Bathymetry, Gravity Field, Gravity Free Air Anomaly and Navigation data that have not been processed. Data were acquired as part of the project(s): Collaborative Research: Rio Grande Rise: New Questions on Plume Dynamics, Atlantic Tectonic Evolution and an Important Window to the African LLSVP. Funding was provided by NSF award(s): OCE15-58681.
