Marine Geoscience Data System
Near-Bottom Bathymetry Data (grid in ASCII raster format) from missions 20150305m1 and 20150306m2 in the Pescadero Basin, southern Gulf of California
This high-resolution gridded bathymetry data was acquired with a Reson SeaBat 7125 Multibeam sonar system on MBARI Mapping AUV missions 20150305m1 and 20150306m2 in Pescadero Basin during the 2015 R/V Rachel Carson cruise RCSN234 (chief scientist Dave Caress). The data files are in ESRI ASCII grid format and were processed using the open-source MB-System multibeam sonar processing software. The grid is 1-meter horizontal resolution. Navigation is DVL/USBL, adjusted with MBSystem in post-processing. Funding for this work was provided by the David and Lucile Packard Foundation.
