RR1712 Navigation
Processed Jason II ROV dive navigation at Axial Seamount, Juan de Fuca Ridge, acquired in 2017 during Revelle cruise RR1712 (investigators Chadwick, Nooner, Butterfield, Baumberger)
These processed navigation data files are for Jason II ROV dives that occurred during the Juan de Fuca Axial Seamount cruise RR1712 in 2017. They were derived from USBL smoothed re-nav navigation files. The files are in shapefile format with a geographic projection and were generated as part of a project called Post-eruption re-inflation at Axial Seamount. Funding was from NSF grants OCE13-56839 and OCE13-56216 and NOAA/PMEL grant NOAA-8284-2017.
