Underway Hydrographic, Weather and Ship-state Data (JGOFS) from the Gerlache Strait acquired during the Laurence M. Gould expedition LMG1406 (2014)
This data set was acquired with a ship-based Echosounder Sonar, Fluorometer, Navigation system, Thermosalinograph, and Meteorological Sensor during Laurence M. Gould expedition LMG1406 conducted in 2014 (Chief Scientist: Dr. Chi-Hing Cheng). These data files are of JGOFS (ASCII) format and include Meteorological, Salinity, Conductivity, Visible Radiation, Navigation, Temperature, Bathymetry, Infrared Radiation, and Fluorescence data and were processed after data collection. This data set was created from calibrated data decimated at 1-minute intervals. Several fields are derived measurements from more than a single raw input. Data were acquired as part of the project(s): Antarctic Notothenioid Fish Freeze Avoidance and Genome-wide Evolution for Life in the Cold.
