Documentation for the processed heat flow data acquired at the Raven hydrothermal vent field on the Juan de Fuca Ridge during Atlantis cruise AT18-09 (2011, investigator H. Paul Johnson)
Data description document related to the processed heat flow data acquired using thermal blankets at the Raven hydrothermal vent field on the Juan de Fuca Ridge during Atlantis cruise AT18-09. The document describes the thermal blanket methodology, error analysis, and comparison to other heat flow instrumentation, and is supplementary to the Salmi et al., 2014 paper. The data file is in PDF format and was generated as part of the project called Constraining Sub-surface Fluid Circulation at the Raven Hydrothermal Field, Endeavour Ridge: An in situ Geophysical Experiment and Numerical Modeling Study. Funding was provided by NSF grant OCE10-37870 (investigator H. Paul Johnson).
