Seismically-derived Moho reflector depth in the Australian-Antarctic Discordance (AAD) region of the Southeast Indian Ridge (investigator Chad Holmes)
This data set contains Moho reflector depths published in Holmes et al. (2010). The 2-D seismic velocity models were derived from OBS/OBH refraction data collected along four lines using airgun shots fired during cruise WEST08MV and were parameterized by a dense nodal mesh draped on the bathymetry combined with independent depth nodes for the Moho. These data files are in ASCII format and were generated as part of the project called "A Seismic Refraction Investigation of Crustal Thickness Variations between the Australian-Antarctic Discordance and the Neighboring Southeast Indian Ridge: Data Analysis" with funding provided by NSF grant 97-96101.
