Processed ship-based Multibeam Sonar Data (version 2) acquired in the Juan de Fuca Integrated Study Site during the Atlantis expedition AT07-20 (2002)
This data set was acquired with a ship-based SeaBeam 2112 Multibeam Sonar system during Atlantis expedition AT07-20 conducted in 2002 (Chief Scientist: Dr. H. Paul Johnson). These data files are of MBSystem format and include Acoustic Backscatter, Sidescan, and Swath Bathymetry data and were processed by the GMRT Team using the open source MB-System multibeam sonar processing software as part of the GMRT Synthesis effort. These data are included in the GMRT Synthesis, version 2.1. Data were acquired as part of the project(s): Collaborative lexen research: Direct sampling of the oceanic sub-surface biosphere at old and young seamounts, and funding was provided by NSF grant(s): OCE00-85615.
