Processed Current Meter Time Series Data from the East Pacific Rise at 9N from November 2004 through April 2005
This data set was acquired with a AADI RCM-11 CurrentMeter and AADI RCM-8 CurrentMeter deployed during Atlantis expedition AT11-20 in 2004 (Chief Scientist: Dr. Marvin Lilley) and recovered on Atlantis expedition AT11-26 (Chief Scientist: Costantino Vetriani). Investigator(s): Dr. Diane Adams and Dr. Lauren Mullineaux. These data files are of Text File (ASCII) format and include Current Measurement time series data from November 2004 through April 2005 that were processed after data collection. Data were acquired as part of the project(s): Biocomplexity: Smart Sensors for In Situ Monitoring of Hydrothermal Vent Systems, Establishing a Role for Fe and S Microbial Metabolism in Ocean Crust Weathering, Time-Series Larval Studies in the Deep Sea, and The Interaction of Microbial Biofilms and Fluid Chemistry on Larval Settlement, and funding was provided by NSF grant(s): OCE01-19999, OCE02-41791, and with funding from the WHOI Deep Ocean Exploration Institute. This data was cited by Adams et al., 2011.
