Processed ship-based Multibeam Sonar Data (version 2) acquired off the coast of Brazil during the Knorr expedition KN159-05 (1998)

This data set was acquired with a ship-based SeaBeam 2112 Multibeam Sonar system during Knorr expedition KN159-05 conducted in 1998 (Chief Scientist: Dr. Delia Oppo). These data files are of MBSystem format and include Sidescan, Swath Bathymetry, and Acoustic Backscatter data and were processed by the GMRT Team using the open source MB-System multibeam sonar processing software as part of the GMRT Synthesis effort. These data are included in the GMRT Synthesis, version 2.0.
