Ship-based Trackline Geophysical Data (MGD77) acquired during the Maurice Ewing expedition EW9608 (1996)

This data set was acquired with a ship-based BellAerospace BGM-3 Gravimeter, Varian Inc. V75 Magnetometer, and Atlas Hydrosweep DS Multibeam Sonar system during Maurice Ewing expedition EW9608 conducted in 1996 (Chief Scientist: Dr. Robert Detrick). These data files are of MGD77 format and include Gravity Field, Singlebeam Bathymetry, and Magnetic Field data and were processed after data collection. Data were acquired as part of the project(s): A Seismic Tomography Study of Mantle Bouguer Anomalies and Crustal Thickness Variations at the Mid-Atlantic Ridge, and funding was provided by NSF grant(s): OCE93-00450 and OCE94-01717.
