Ship-based Trackline Geophysical Data (MGD77) from the Vema Transform Fault acquired during the Maurice Ewing expedition EW9305 (1993)
This data set was acquired with a ship-based Varian Inc. V75 Magnetometer, Bodenseewerk KSS-30 Gravimeter, and Atlas Hydrosweep DS Multibeam Sonar system during Maurice Ewing expedition EW9305 conducted in 1993 (Chief Scientist: Dr. Kim Kastens). These data files are of MGD77 format and include Magnetic Field, Gravity Field, and Singlebeam Bathymetry data and were processed after data collection. Data were acquired as part of the project(s): Mapping a Cross-Section through Oceanic Lithosphere Exposed by Vertical Tectonics at the Vema Fracture Zone, and funding was provided by NSF grant(s): OCE93-07017 and OCE94-02347.
