Ship-based Trackline Geophysical Data (MGD77) from the Gulf of California acquired during the Maurice Ewing expedition EW0210 (2002)
This data set was acquired with a ship-based BellAerospace BGM-3 Gravimeter and Atlas Hydrosweep DS2 Multibeam Sonar system during Maurice Ewing expedition EW0210 conducted in 2002 (Chief Scientist: Dr. Dan Lizarralde). These data files are of MGD77 format and include Gravity Field and Singlebeam Bathymetry data and were processed after data collection. Data were acquired as part of the project(s): Seismic and Geologic Study of Gulf of California Rifting and Magmatism, Sea of Cortez Continental Extension and Rifting, and The PESCADOR Seismic Experiment, and funding was provided by NSF grant(s): OCE01-11738, OCE01-11983, OCE01-12058, OCE01-12149, and OCE01-12152. This data was cited by Paramo et al., 2008 and Miller and Lizarralde, 2012.
