Raw multibeam bathymetry and acoustic backscatter data collected in 2008 at the Lau Basin during Kilo Moana cruise KM0804 (investigator Fernando Martinez)

The data set was acquired with a ship-based Simrad EM120 multibeam sonar system. The files are in MBSystem format and were generated as part of a project called Investigating the Distribution of Hydrothermal Activity and its Geologic and Geophysical Controls at the Lau Integrated Studies Site. Funding was provided with NSF award OCE07-32536.
