Processed multibeam bathymetry and acoustic backscatter data collected in 2008 at the Lau Basin during Kilo Moana cruise KM0804 (investigator Fernando Martinez)

The data set was acquired with a ship-based Simrad EM1002 multibeam sonar system. The files are in MBSystem format and were generated as part of a project called Investigating the Distribution of Hydrothermal Activity and its Geologic and Geophysical Controls at the Lau Integrated Studies Site.
