This data set was acquired with a ship-based Navigation system during Robert D. Conrad expedition RC3001 conducted in 1989 (Chief Scientist: Dr. Robert Detrick). These data files are of Text File (ASCII) format and include Navigation data and were processed after data collection. Data were acquired as part of the project(s): MCS Reconnaissance Survey of the MARK (Mid-Atlantic Ridge south of the Kane Fracture Zone) Rift valley in the vicinity of ODP Sites 648, 649, and 670 and Hydrothermal Circulation on Sediment-Starved Mid-Ocean Ridges, and funding was provided by NSF grant(s): OCE88-17332 and JSC 4-89.
