A large Y-shaped canyon at 1000m depth drains from a prominent terrace around 400m depth. The terrace also has a series of smaller parallel channels cut into its surface, before the steep 300m rise to the shallow coral reef. This dive will target one arm of the deep canyon, traversing from the canyon floor at 920m and up the steep sides to 780m this dive will be looking for signs of actively draining canyon and associated cold-water marine life.

The dive continues the traverse (from rov dive 364) below the prominent terrace at 660m, over the terrace and parallel channels and up to the mesophotic (twilight) zone near 100m depth. This dive will be looking for clues if the terrace is an ancient rock platform, and for mesophotic marine life.

Diving on the northern side of Lihou Reef from approx 558m working over some debris field and up the side of Lihou reef cay wall to the south. The dive is located at a prominent landslide where the entire flank appears collapsed. The dive will transit across a debris field and several large blocks, then across the steep scarp face. We are looking for the exposed strata or the internal layering of these reefs, and the diverse cold water and mesophotic marine live associated with these layers.
