Quality Flag Description
The Quality flag provides an indication of the level of processing applied to a particular dataset or datafile.| Quality | Description |
| 0 | Data have not been processed or modified since acquisition (e.g. Realtime navigation or sonar data, raw images etc.). |
| 1 | A rudimentary level of processing has been undertaken, ensuring quality control (e.g. ping edited sonar data, manually edited navigation data). |
| 2 | The data have been processed/modified to a level beyond that of basic quality control (e.g. final processed sonar data, photo-mosaics). |
| Higher Number | Additional processing has been performed from the descriptions above (e.q. multibeam data that has additional corrections made after the cruise is completed). |
| NA | NA The data does not reside in the MGDS database and we do not control the quality information. (e.g. links to other databases or websites). |
