TN082 Bathymetry:Phase
DSL-120 processed phase bathymetry (NetCDF format) of the Juan de Fuca Ridge southern Cleft Segment from Thompson cruise TN082 (1998)
Processed phase bathymetry covering the axis of the southern Cleft Segment of the Juan de Fuca Ridge from the known sites of hydrothermal venting (Vent 1, Vent 3, and Plume) to the Blanco Transform. Data are provided as the whole coverage at 4-m lateral lateral resolution, and split into two tiles (northern half and southern half) each with 2-m lateral resolution. Data were collected with the WHOI DSL-120 sidescan sonar towed 100m off the seafloor during the 1998 R/V Thompson cruise TN082 (Bill Chadwick, chief scientist). The files are in GMT-compatible NetCDF grid format. Funding for the DSL-120 mapping project was provided by MBARI.
