Abstract:
This data set contains grids of compiled processed bathymetry data at the Chilean subduction zone in support of the Subduction Zones in four Dimensions (SZ4D) program. The compilation has three components: Kongsberg EM122 multibeam processed data from R/V Sonne 2018 cruise SO261; Bathymetry data extracted from GMRT version 4.4.1 (gmrt.org); Direct measurement coverage from the GEBCO 2026 digital elevation model (https://www.gebco.net/data-products-gridded-bathymetry-data/gebco2026-grid). The GEBCO direct measurements were extracted using the GEBCO 2026 Type Identifier (TID) grid (TIDs 10-17) as a mask on the GEBCO 2026 DEM. The compilation grids presented here are in GeoTIFF grid format, are referenced to WGS-84, and have a horizontal resolution of 100m or 500m as indicated in the file name. This data set was generated as part of the project called "Data- and model-driven optimization of the SZ4D MultiArray: An on-shore/offshore network for integrated observations of subduction zone geohazards" under NSF awards OCE24-32083 and OCE24-32092.
