Abstract:
This Raw swath bathymetry data set was collected with a Reson T50-S 400 kHz multibeam sonar system on MBARI's Mapping AUV (MAUV2) on missions 20210801m2, 20210805m1, 20210806m1, 20210816m1, and 20230822m2. The data files are in Reson s7k format (compatible with MB-System as mbio format 88) and contain raw swath bathymetry and acoustic backscatter data. The AUV survey missions were conducted during R/V Rachel Carson cruises along the Cascadia Margin. Data were acquired as part of a collaborative research project between MBARI and the U.S. Geological Survey. Funding for the AUV mapping was provided from the David and Lucile Packard Foundation.
