Title:
Map of processed bathymetry data with AUV navigation track line for data acquired near-bottom in 2021 from 41.72° N along the frontal thrust of the Cascadia Margin with MBARI's Mapping AUV (MAUV1)
Abstract:
This map shows processed bathymetry overlain with the navigation track line for MBARI's Mapping AUV (MAUV1) on missions 20210728m1 and 20210801m1, in 2021. The AUV survey mission was conducted during the 2021 cruise on R/V Rachel Carson along the Cascadia Margin. Cruise Chief Scientists - David Caress, Charles Paull; PI - Jenna Hill; and, investigators: Jenifer B. Paduan, Eve Lundsten and Janet Watt. Data were acquired as part of a collaborative research project between MBARI and the U.S. Geological Survey. Funding for the AUV mapping was provided from the David and Lucile Packard Foundation.
