Abstract:
These raw multibeam water column data files are in ".kmwcd" format and were collected with a Kongsberg EM304 MKII multibeam system in September 2025 during the Canpac Valour survey PAC2025-M14 along the Tuzo Wilson Seamount Complex and southwest coast of Haida Gwaii. For the bathymetry survey, a mounting pole holding the transducer was installed on the starboard side of the Canpac Valour vessel. Real-time position, roll, pitch, heave, and heading were corrected using a Kongsberg Seatex Seapath 380-5+ system. To characterize the water column, sound velocity profiles were collected at regular intervals with a Valeport Midas CTD. The data set was generated as part of the NorthEast Pacific Deap-sea Exploration Project 2025 (NEPDEP2025).
