Navigation files for P-wave velocity models, South Atlantic CREST transect survey (MGL1601)
Abstract:
The velocity model navigation files are in ASCII format and relate the model distance to (latitude, longitude) coordinates. The files contain three columns: Model distance (km); Latitude (degrees); Longitude (degrees). Detailed modeling procedures are given in Christeson et al. (2025). The data files were generated as part of projects called Evolution of South Atlantic Oceanic Crust: A Seismic Transect; and, CREST: Crustal Reflectivity Experiment Southern Transect. Funding was provided by NSF awards OCE15-37108 and OCE15-37169.
