Abstract:
These images show the reprocessed multi-channel seismic (MCS) reflection profiles from the 2016 CREST seismic survey. The processing workflow is described in detail in Estep et al. 2019 https://doi.org/10.1029/2019JB017302. Revised velocities and mutes were selected to improve the original images. The files are in PNG format. The data files were generated as part of projects called Evolution of South Atlantic Oceanic Crust: A Seismic Transect; and, CREST: Crustal Reflectivity Experiment Southern Transect. Funding was provided by NSF awards OCE15-37108 and OCE15-37169.
