Abstract:
This data set presents reprocessed multi-channel seismic (MCS) reflection profiles from the 2016 CREST seismic survey. The processing workflow is described in detail in Estep et al. 2019 https://doi.org/10.1029/2019JB017302. Revised velocities and mutes were selected to improve the original images. The data files are in SEG-Y format. The data files were generated as part of projects called Evolution of South Atlantic Oceanic Crust: A Seismic Transect; and, CREST: Crustal Reflectivity Experiment Southern Transect. Funding was provided by NSF awards OCE15-37108 and OCE15-37169.
