Abstract:
This data set was acquired with the LDEO seismic acquisition system during an active-source OBS seismic survey of the Puerto Rico subduction zone, as part of R/V Marcus G. Langseth cruise MGL2316. This active-source OBS survey followed the Multi-Channel Seismic work done during the previous cruises, MGL2314 and MGL2315. The data files are in ASCII format and contain seismic source information that includes the shot number, source volume, and source pressure. The data set was collected as part of the project called Seismic Hazard, Lithosphere Hydration, and Double-Verging Structure of the Puerto Rico Subduction Zone: A Seismic Reflection and Refraction Perspective. Funding was provided by NSF awards OCE23-09734 and OCE23-09735.
