Abstract:
This acoustic backscatter data set was generated from two separate hull-mounted Kongsberg EM124 and EM712 multibeam echo-sounder systems on R/V Falkor (too). Backscatter data processing was carried out onboard during the cruise using QPS FMGeocoder Toolbox (FMGT) software. The data files are in GeoTIFF grid format (WGS84). The file name indicates which multibeam backscatter data is present in the gridded data file. The data set was collected as part of the project called Fire and Ice: Volcanic and Glacial Interactions - Chaitén eruption.
