Abstract:
This data set was generated from bathymetry data collected with two separate hull-mounted Kongsberg EM124 and EM712 multibeam echo-sounder systems on R/V Falkor (too). Data processing was carried out onboard during the cruise using QPS Qimera software. The swath data was corrected for sound velocity in the water and cleaning was done to remove major erratic data points. The data files are in GeoTIFF grid format (WGS84). The file name indicates if data from only one of the systems was used in the grid. The data set was collected as part of the project called Fire and Ice: Volcanic and Glacial Interactions - Chaitén eruption.
