Abstract:
This data set was acquired with an EdgeTech 2205 Sidescan Sonar on AUV Sentry during R/V Atlantis expedition AT26-09 conducted in 2013 (Chief Scientist: Dr. Geoffrey Wheat). These data files are of JPEG Image format and include Sidescan data that were processed after acquisition. Data were acquired as part of the project: Collaborative Research: Discovery, sampling, and quantification of flows from cool yet massive ridge-flank hydrothermal springs on Dorado Outcrop, eastern Pacific Ocean. Funding was provided by NSF Awards: OCE11-30074, OCE11-30146, OCE11-31210.
