Abstract:
This data set was acquired with a Seapoint Sensors, Inc. Optical Backscatter Sensor, Navigation System,Sea-Bird Electronics SBE-49 FastCAT CTD, 1540 Magnetometer and Aanderaa Data Instruments 4330 Oxygen Optode Sensor on AUV Sentry during R/V Atlantis expedition AT26-06 conducted in 2013 (Chief Scientist: Dr. David Valentine). These data files are of NDSF SCC Text File (ASCII) format and include Magnetic Field, Navigation, Optical Backscatter, Oxygen and Temperature data that were processed after acquisition and sampled at 1Hz. Data were acquired as part of the projects: Development and Application of a Radiotracer Rate Method for Ethane and Propane Consumption; Dimensions: The Role of Viruses in Structuring Biodiversity in Methanotrophic Marine Ecosystems. Funding was provided by NSF Awards: OCE10-46144, OCE11-55855.
