Velocity model navigation file (ASCII format) from a 2004 southeastern Caribbean seismic study (EW0404)
Abstract:
This data set was generated as part of an active-source seismic study in the southeastern Caribbean called the Broadband Ocean-Land Investigation of Venezuela and the Antilles arc Region (BOLIVAR). The MCS/OBS seismic survey was done in 2004 during Ewing cruise EW0404. Data for Profile TRIN provides constraints on crustal structure of the Aves Ridge, Grenada Basin, Lesser Antilles island arc, Tobago Basin, and Caribbean–South America plate boundary zone. The velocity model navigation files are in ASCII format and relate the model distance to (latitude, longitude) coordinates. The files contain three columns: Model distance (km); Latitude (degrees); Longitude (degrees). Funding was provided from NSF award EAR00-03588.
