Abstract:
This data set was acquired with a Seapoint Sensors, Inc. Optical Backscatter Sensor, Navigation System,Sea-Bird Electronics SBE-49 FastCAT CTD and 1540 Magnetometer on AUV Sentry during R/V Atlantis expedition AT26-15 conducted in 2014 (Chief Scientist: Dr. Cindy VanDover). These data files are of NDSF SCC Text File (ASCII) format and include Magnetic Field, Navigation, Optical Backscatter, Oxygen and Temperature data that were processed after acquisition and sampled at 1Hz. Data were acquired as part of the projects: Collaborative Research: Connectivity in western Atlantic seep populations: Oceanographic and life-history processes underlying genetic structure; Ocean Acidification: Physiological and genetic responses of the deep-water coral, Lophelia pertusa, to ongoing ocean acidification in the Gulf of Mexico. Funding was provided by NSF Awards: OCE10-31050, OCE12-20478.
