Title:
Loihi Seamount (Hawaii), Shinkai Deep and FeMO hydrothermal sites, Sentry AUV dive maps of bathymetry with navigation track after processing (2013, 2014)
Abstract:
These maps of the Loihi Seamount summit Shinkai Deep and FeMO hydrothermal vents sites show processed bathymetry gridded at 1-meter horizontal resolution with the Sentry AUV navigation track line data overlain for dives Sentry168, Sentry265, Sentry266, Sentry269, and Sentry270. The files are in JPG image format. The AUV was operated by WHOI:NDSF, the dives were conducted during the 2013 R/V Thompson cruise TN293 and the 2014 R/V Falkor cruise FK140625. Funding was provided by NSF awards OCE10-31947 and OCE10-61827, and the input data files were reprocessed by Jennifer Paduan (MBARI).
