Abstract:
This processed bathymetry data set for the Loihi Seamount FeMO and Shinkai Deep hydrothermal sites was collected during Sentry AUV dives Sentry168, Sentry265, Sentry266, Sentry269, and Sentry270. The data files are in GeoTIFF image format and contain swath bathymetry data gridded at 2-meter horizontal resolution in geographic coordinates. The dives were conducted during the 2013 R/V Thompson cruise TN293 and the 2014 R/V Falkor cruise FK140625. Funding was provided by NSF awards OCE10-31947 and OCE10-61827 and by the Schmidt Ocean Institute. The AUV was operated by WHOI:NDSF and the data files were reprocessed by Jennifer Paduan (MBARI).
