Title:
Geophysical grids of gravity, bathymetry, magentization, and crustal thickness for the Southwest Indian Ridge, 56-59E
Abstract:
This data set presents geophysical grids for Southwest Indian Ridge crust near the Atlantis II Bank, derived from Allegra Hosford's PhD Thesis (2001, MIT/WHOI) and Journal of Geophysical Research article from 2003. The grids are in the Generic Mapping Tools (GMT) COARDS-compliant netCDF format and are in geographic coordinates. Details about the data used to create these grids, along with parameters such as densities and thermal parameters, can be found in the associated citations. The gravity-related grids are described in Chapter 4 of Hosford (2001), and the multibeam and magnetization grids are described in Hosford et al. (2003). The associated PDF document contains plots of the grids.
