Title:
Bottom pressure estimates from a ROMS hydrodynamic model of the Gulf of Alaska for years 2018 and 2019
Abstract:
This is a netCDF file of bottom pressures based on ROMS (Regional Ocean Modeling System) numerical model output, interpolated to a regular latitude-longitude grid. The modeled seafloor pressures are presented as a function of time (a 3-D matrix with dimensions corresponding to latitude, longitude, time) and the model output spans the space and time limits of the Alaska Amphibious Community Seismic Experiment in the Gulf of Alaska. The pressure data variable is named "presstot_latlon" in the file. The units are Pascals. Detail of the model structure are available in Coyle et al. (2019).
