Abstract:
The original seismic data was acquired during R/V Robert D. Conrad cruise RC2308 and R/V Kana Keoki cruise KK8213 to the Hawaiian Islands and vicinity in August/September 1982. Navigation on Conrad was by Loran-C and a Magnavox satellite navigation system. Reprocessing has been carried out using the original Conrad field data (except for Line 330 which was reprocessed using a stack) and includes de-noise, de-bubble, deconvolution and migration. Reprocessed data has been converted to depth using P-wave velocity data acquired during the two-ship Expanding Spread Profiles 1-11 and 'picks' of top oceanic crust and Moho used to constrain the long-term mechanical properties of Pacific Oceanic lithosphere. The files are in SEG-Y format. Funding for the study came from NSF and NERC.
