Title:
Species Abundance and Species Distribution Epifauna and Infauna Data (Excel XLS format), eastern Long Island Sound (2017-18)
Abstract:
These Microsoft Excel XLS spreadsheets provide information from surveys in 2017-2018 on epifauna and infauna species type, abundance, and distribution. The files also contain species composition, diversity, and sediment patch type assignments for each SEABOSS, Kraken 2 ROV and wet dive SCUBA image gathered in the surveys. The Long Island Sound Mapping and Research Collaborative (LISMaRC) is a joint effort of the University of Connecticut, the University of New Haven and the US Geological Survey. Funding provided by the Long Island Sound Seafloor Mapping Fund administered cooperatively by the EPA Long Island Sound Study and the Connecticut Department of Energy and Environmental Protection (DEEP).
