Abstract:
This gridded data set was generated from multibeam echo-soundings data collected using hull-mounted Simrad EM710 and EM302 sonar systems on R/V Falkor during cruise FK160407 in 2016. The grid is in GMT-compatible netCDF format and is in the UTM coordinate system (zone 1S). The horizontal resolution of the grid is 10m. The bathymetry was used in Garvin et al., 2018. The data set was generated as part of a project called Ecosystem dynamics of Western Pacific hydrothermal vent communities associated with polymetallic sulfide deposits. Funding was provided through NSF award OCE15-36650.
