Abstract:
This Escanaba Trough processed swath bathymetry gridded data set was collected with a Reson SeaBat 7125 multibeam sonar system on MBARI Mapping AUV missions in 2014 and 2016: missions 20140823m1, 20140824m1, 20140825m1, 20140826m1, 20160809m1, 20160809m2, 20160810m1, and 20160810m2 (investigators Dave Caress, Dave Clague, Jennifer Paduan). The data files are in ESRI ASCII raster grid format and contain processed swath bathymetry data gridded at 1m resolution. North Escanaba = NESCA, South Escanaba = SESCA. The AUV survey missions were conducted during R/V Rachel Carson cruises RCSN204 in 2014 and RCSN393 in 2016 (chief scientist Dave Caress). Funding was provided by a grant from the David and Lucile Packard Foundation to MBARI.
