Abstract:
This Escanaba Trough processed swath bathymetry gridded data set was collected with a Reson SeaBat 7125 multibeam sonar system on MBARI Mapping AUV missions in 2014 and 2016: missions 20140823m1, 20140824m1, 20140825m1, 20140826m1, 20160809m1, 20160809m2, 20160810m1, and 20160810m2 (investigators Dave Caress, Dave Clague, Jennifer Paduan). The data files are in GMT-compatible netCDF grid format and contain processed swath bathymetry data gridded at 1m resolution. North Escanaba = NESCA, South Escanaba = SESCA. The AUV survey missions were conducted during R/V Rachel Carson cruises RCSN204 in 2014 and RCSN393 in 2016 (chief scientist Dave Caress). Funding was provided by a grant from the David and Lucile Packard Foundation to MBARI.
