Abstract:
These depth-converted seismic sections are 2-D line segments from 2005 Ewing cruise EW0501 that have been processed to the point of migrated depth. Original data are time migrations from http://dx.doi.org/10.1594/IEDA/500106 that have been converted to depth using velocity grids obtained from full-waveform inversion. These processed seismic files are in SEG-Y image format. The original seismic data was collected in with the LDEO Multi-Channel Seismic system during Ewing cruise EW0501 as part of the Chicxulub Crater imaging project. Chief Scientists on the cruise were Sean Gulick and Penny Barton. The data set was generated as part of the project called Chicxulub impact effects and the recovery of life using scientific drilling investigations at ground zero. Funding was provided from NSF award OCE17-37351.
