Abstract:
The near-bottom sidescan and sub-bottom data was collected on Sentry AUV dives with an EdgeTech 2200N system in 2016 during Atlantis cruise AT33-03 to the Mid-Atlantic Ridge (chief scientist Mark Kurz). These processed data files are in JSF format (compatible with MB-System as mbio format 132) and contain processed sidescan and sub-bottom data that has been merged with navigation. The data set was generated as part of the project called Coupling Mantle Volatiles, Eruption Dynamics, and Tectonics on the Mid-Atlantic Ridge. Funding was provided from NSF award OCE12-59218.
