Processed near-bottom sidescan data (JSF format) from Sentry AUV dives at the Mid-Atlantic Ridge (AT40-02, 2018)
Abstract:
The near-bottom sidescan data was collected on Sentry AUV dives with an EdgeTech 2200M system in 2018 during Atlantis cruise AT40-02 to the Mid-Atlantic Ridge (chief scientist Mark Kurz). These processed data files are in JSF format (compatible with MB-System as mbio format 132) and contain processed sidescan data that has been merged with navigation. The data set was generated as part of the project called Coupling Mantle Volatiles, Eruption Dynamics, and Tectonics on the Mid-Atlantic Ridge. Funding was provided from NSF award OCE12-59218.
