Abstract:
The high-resolution near-bottom bathymetry and backscatter processed data was acquired with a Reson SeaBat 7125 Multibeam sonar system on the Sentry AUV platform in 2018 during Atlantis cruise AT40-02 to the Mid-Atlantic Ridge (chief scientist Mark Kurz). These processed swath files are compatible with MB-SYSTEM format 88. The data set was generated as part of the project called Coupling Mantle Volatiles, Eruption Dynamics, and Tectonics on the Mid-Atlantic Ridge. Funding was provided from NSF award OCE12-59218.
