Abstract:
This data set was acquired with a ship-based Atlas Hydrosweep Multibeam Sonar system during Sonne expedition SO108 conducted in 1996 (Chief Scientist: Dr. Ernst Flueh). These data files are of MBSystem format and include Swath Bathymetry, Acoustic Backscatter, and Sidescan data and were processed by the GMRT Team using the open source MB-System multibeam sonar processing software as part of the GMRT Synthesis effort. These data are included in the GMRT Synthesis, version 2.3. Data were acquired as part of the project(s): ORWELL - Oregon and Washington Exploration of the Lithosphere.
