Abstract:
This data set was acquired with a ship-based SeaBeam 2000 Multibeam Sonar system during Melville expedition VANC23MV conducted in 2004 (Chief Scientist: Dr. Neal Driscoll). These data files are of MBSystem format and include Swath Bathymetry data and were processed by the GMRT Team using the open source MB-System multibeam sonar processing software. These data are included in the GMRT Synthesis, version 1. Data were acquired as part of the project(s): Developing a Quantitative Understanding of Clinoform Formation, Gulf of Papua and Clinoform Sequence Stratigraphy in a Modern Foreland Basin, and funding was provided by NSF grant(s): OCE03-05607, OCE03-05699, and OCE03-05779.
