Abstract:

This data set was acquired with a ship-based SeaBeam 2112 Multibeam Sonar system during Knorr expedition KN145-16 conducted in 1996 (Chief Scientist: Dr. Nancy Grindlay). These data files are of MBSystem format and include Swath Bathymetry data and were processed by the at-sea science party and the GMRT Team using the open source MB-System multibeam sonar processing software. These data are included in the GMRT Synthesis, version 1. Funding was provided by NSF grant(s): OCE93-14324, OCE95-28885, and OCE97-96254.
