Abstract:
This data set was acquired with a ship-based Atlas Hydrosweep DS Multibeam Sonar system during Maurice Ewing expedition EW0004 conducted in 2000 (Chief Scientist: Dr. John Sinton). These data files are of MBSystem format and include Swath Bathymetry data and were processed by the at-sea science party and the GMRT Team using the open source MB-System multibeam sonar processing software. These data are included in the GMRT Synthesis, version 1. Data were acquired as part of the project(s): Galapagos Plume Ridge Interaction Multi-disciplinary Experiment (G-PRIME), and funding was provided by NSF grant(s): OCE00-00478, OCE00-02189, OCE03-26772, OCE03-27018, OCE03-27051, OCE03-27289, OCE98-18632, OCE98-18886, and OCE98-19117.
