Title:
Processed ship-based Multibeam Sonar Data acquired during the Maurice Ewing expedition EW9601 (1996)
Abstract:
This data set was acquired with a ship-based Atlas Hydrosweep DS Multibeam Sonar system during Maurice Ewing expedition EW9601 conducted in 1996 (Chief Scientist: Dr. Thomas Henyey; Investigator: Dr. W. Steven Holbrook). These data files are of MBSystem Compatible format and include Swath Bathymetry data and were processed at sea using the open source MB-System multibeam sonar processing software. These data are included in the GMRT Synthesis, version 1. Data were acquired as part of the project(s): Geophysical Investigation of a Modern Continent-Continent Collisional Orogen: The Southern Alps, New Zealand, and funding was provided by NSF grant(s): EAR92-19496 and EAR94-18530.
